After SAN's death, LAI KI persuades HIN KUNG to make CHAI as the prince. NG wants to kill CHAI first but he is stopped by YI. HIN KUNG appreciates YI's virtuous behaviour and wants to make him as the prince. However, YI is afraid that his acceptance of being the prince will lead to unavoidable trouble, so he rejects this and leaves the country.
